Early911SRegistry/RGruppe Coffee and Doughnutfest, Saturday July 6

I’ve got a dilemma. What do I drive to Emeryville? I’ve got my old trusty 911 with new metal and paint, but I can now drive my 62 356B Cab that Richard and I resurrected from a long nap in my garage. It would have still been sleeping if Richard hadn’t wanted to leave his wedding with his beautiful new bride in the car. We put in lots of hours and busted knuckles but got it done in time for his wonderful Napa Valley wedding last weekend. I’ll need to clean it up ‘cause it has a bunch of dust (the wedding site was at the end of a dirt road in a secluded vineyard). It’s full of rose petals too. I’ll figure it out, hopefully. Everybody else just drive whatever. Please leave your SUVs, Tesla’s, hybrids (unless it’s a 918 or 919) on Park St and save the spaces on Harlan St for interesting Porsches and card carrying EarlySRegistry and RGruppe members. Fresh ground coffee and plenty of doughnuts will be available from 8AM till whenever. The weather should be ideal and everyone is welcome.

    Regards

    Jim

    Hi Jim and Richard,
Congratulations. Young guy, young bride, old car.

A little reverse of some of us these days. Old guys...with old cars.

Again, congratulations. Beautiful picture. See you Saturday.
    Richard

Nice job on two fronts courtesy of Richard: Celebrated a special day with TWO beautiful “objects of desire”. (Calling Leah an “object” in the nicest possible way of course!)
Wonderful to see the Cab rolling again, Jim.
I’ll try to catch a plane from NZ to join you next month!
    Drive the 356!

Why don’t you have trim on the windshield rubbers?
