    1972 only shifter question

    Hi,

    I was wondering if someone could please tell me if the 1972 shifter below is for a 4-speed or a 5-speed 915 transmission?

    It is for a 5spd but has a silly short shift conversion.

    You just need to replace the lever. You can use one from any 901 shifter preferably from 68 o

    dirk07, no 72 shifters were like that as well, 73 is when the change occured

    A 72 was a one year only shifter, there were an additional couple small springs and a lock out lever.
