MSD delete - distributor wiring assistance

Working on an MSD delete on a 70T and adding a Partsklassik CDI & Coil, fortunately the PO left almost all of the original wiring.

I am in the homestretch however am wondering where/how to attach the purple/black & black to the ignition dist. and thinking this one may just be missing the clip at the base to attach purple/black & black to? The black/red is newer wiring.

How does the Purple/black & black attach to the ignition?

    Any & all assistance appreciated!

I found this diagram really helpful, and should cover what you need to know.
The purple black goes to the male spade on your distributor (marked "points")
Mr John Cramer's I believe?(apologies to the original author/poster if incorrectly attributed)
    Good luck

Very helpful, thanks Nathan. Does anyone have a pic of the male spade location so I can see where to add one? Mine is missing. Thanks.

The red and black wire coming from the distributor, is where the original connector for purple wire would connect. The red and black wires look like a Pertronix (points replacement). Show us the inside of the distributor, and for grins the MSD box.

Inside of the Bosch below, looking like a rebuilt dist. is in my future.

Are you trying to replace the Pertronix?

The goal was to swap it back to an original look with a Partsklassik CDI & coil and delete the MSD. I didn't know there would be an issue with distributor connection (missing spade) to the original wiring. I am open to replacing the dist. with a rebuilt, replacing the pertronix, or if I could connect the black purple to the pertronix that would work too. I would like to have the original wiring back in place.

You use Male spade connectors, a double to connect power to red pertronix, and a 'Y' connector to join black pertronix wire with black point wire and blk/pur. tach. wire.

    Doesn't a 70T usually have a Marrelli distributor?
