While we’re on the subject...was the Messko tire pressure gauge standard equipment in the toolkit of early 911’s, specifically a 1969 911?

    Thanks,

Hello Alan, Did you ever find the answer to your question?
    For the Messko Gauge Police:
I have two Bakelight Messko Gauges,
one is a dual scale 0.5 to 3.5 and 10 to 50 on the face
the other is a single scale 0.5 to 3.5

Which one is correct for a 1969 911S that you could buy at the time? And the other one would be correct for which cars?

My best guess: the dual scale was included with cars from 1964 356 through 1968 911
and the single scale would be supplied for the same year cars but in europe.

    Sincerely,
    Benjamin

    Benj:

No, I never did get a definitive answer to the question: “which tire pressure gauge, if any, came standard with a U.S.-spec 1969 911S?”

Someone out there must have the answer...
