    Porsche 911 & 914-6 Magneti Marelli Distributor S112 BX (complete) + Extra Cap

    Model S112 BX

    For '70 - '71 911T and 914-6

    Very clean distributor with 2, original, correct brown caps.

    Details:
    • I purchased this several years ago from a S Registry member. Was told that it was tested and worked fine
    • I received it, cleaned and lubed it, and set the point gap.
    • I never ran it, keeping it as a back-up for my ’71 911 T
    • Complete, including rotor and cap
    • Nice tight shaft (laterally and axially) and spins great
    • Also comes with an NOS 2nd cap. This extra cap is strange, because it obviously sat on an engine (you can see the spark plug wire connector boot marks), but the copper terminals on the inside of the cap are in NOS condition. My guess is that it sat on a back-up or display engine.

    Price for everything is only $45 (+ shipping), which is a bargain. Get rid of that Bosch distributor and put a correct Magneti Marelli back in!
