    Audette Collection Slowing Down

I have been unsuccessful in finding a way to slow down the aging process. And now I find myself staring at 76 with all the assorted maladies that seem to come with it. Also, as many here know, I had a life threatening medical event a couple of months ago that seems to have lowered the octane level a bit. Why am I telling you this?

I thought I had retired in 2000 at age 55 when I sold my internet company. But that was way too young. I went on to found and sell two more early stage internet companies. And then along came Audette Collection, a Porsche enthusiast endeavor that I thought would be a little hobby business. But it turned out to be a bit of a bigger deal than I anticipated. There have been times when I’ve had 30+ projects in the queue. All good. Keeps me out of mischief and I have met a lot of fellow rabid Porschephiles and made a lot of new friends.

I’ve decided it’s time to slow things down a bit with Audette Collection. I don’t intend to quit because I love my modest little craft, but I’m going to limit the number of projects that I take on. I want to continue to enjoy it and I want to keep turnaround times reasonable, so I might not be able to take on every project presented.

    Cheers,
    John

    John,

Make sure you take time to slow down and enjoy the fruits of all your labor.

And thank you for the assistance you gave me on my project, still in the works!

John --- I too am sorry to hear about your life threatening event. I hope you still have your Airstream and can travel a bit to see this beautiful country. Thank you for your extremely professional service and your friendship along the way.

    Best -- David

John, while your lighting products are exceptional, your best offering is character. I hope you'll continue to promote professionalism, civility, and dignity among our sometimes feuding group.

Enjoy the journey, slow down a bit, enjoy that camping trip and stay a few days longer in the woods. It's good for the soul. And yes, the aging process is not for sissies

Just got my cibie biodes back from John. Excellent work, as was expected, and a pleasure to deal with.

John, you seem to be at a good point to slow down (especially since mine are now done ;-). Wishing you good health and happy days.

    Jim
