    No start

Posted this on pelican. Thought I’d put it up here too. 912 chassis 86 3.2 motor

Have electrical issue. Left Scottsdale Tuesday and got to Parker. Turned off car then turned off lights. Filled with gas, made a call. No start. No lights, no dash nothing. Suggestion was ground. Removed from chassis (using bolt that holds battery to body) cleaned and replaced. Started and has run great ever since tonight

Drive 10 miles with lights. Thru stop lights, signs, etc. upshift and down. No issue. Turned a corner total electric failure. Did the ground strap dance but no joy. Note there is power in the battery and interestingly the overhead door light works. No dash, no headlights no start

    Thoughts?

How's the connection for the smaller wire on the + battery terminal ? How's the DME relay wired?

quick update, if anyone is interested. Fried the buss on the back of the fuse box. (1969 912 has two separate 8 fuse boxes). Shop did a temp fix, but I opted to install the Refuze boxes for extra added peace of mind
