Is it possible to get a free Bump on your Ad?

Nothing really important here but was wondering can you go into your "For Sale" post and perform a small edit and get a free bump to the first page again. Reason I ask is I know I have read some FS posts recently and the next day they appear on the first page again without any replies. Obviously if possible this would allow you to avoid the 5 bump rule.

as a frequent bumper my observation is that there is ways to avoid the 5 bump rule.

the do a small edit and get a free bump is not amongst those ways...at least not with my profile.

and there must be also other ways or scenarios that i don`t know so far since sometimes ads( even my ads ) pass the 5 bump limit and i don`t know why.

Ok, maybe someone has posted a reply then goes back and deletes it leaving it bumped to the first page.

I am amazed at the laziness and lack of creativity when it comes to “bumping”.

How about spending 2 minutes and make a controversial statement or simply add color commentary about your thing for sale?

Good for a bump or a trip to the principal’s office.
