Info on the 2 in/2 out LEISTRITZ

    Hi Guys,

Picked this up last week on the other boards. It is an original(no obvious welds) 2 in/2 out Leistritz muffler manufactured on 1990 ( still says W. Germany - so pre wall fall It's in really nice shape, so I jumped on it for my backdated RSR/ST project.

I am trying get an idea on the sound level to expect. I've found a couple of videos on a 2 in 1 out, but no 2 in 2 out. I've read a lot of positive posts on the "original" ones, but again, nothing on the 2 in/2 outs - later or otherwise.

Any info, links or even recollections of what they sound like is appreciated.

It will be louder than a standard sport muffler.

I have one on my 73 and Ed is correct. It's louder than a standard sport muffler but it doesn't drone on. I love mine

It's on the car 24/7/365 so it has to work for both.
