    Advise on Momo Prototipo

What do you guys think about the marks around the top hole of the lower spoke on this Prototipo? Just normal wear, or could it have been bent in an accident?

    Thanks

Looks to be a stress mark in the metal. If I were a buyer I would think it would reduce the value. How much of a reduction would depend on the buyer.

Thanks, I agree. However, these are not that easy to price to start with...

    Stress marks indeed.
Often the case with older ones, depends on how much it bothers you and the degree in how much the spoke's been bent

Edit: it's the one that's been on ebay for a while. One thing worth mentioning, that wheel is not 380mm as it's advertised. It's 370mm even though it may measure to 375mm. The 380's have a different shape of spokes. Good to know before buying anything

Walk away from that steering wheel. Stressed alloys/metals have an unforgiving habit of failing just when you need them not to fail.

All three spikes have stress marks to my eyes. Down spoke the most obvious and pretty significant imo.

FWIW, My father purchased a Dino 246 off a gentleman of generous proportion, it showed the exact stress markings. He had been using the wheel to assist himself in and out of the vehicle.
Was replaced in 1972 with a MOMO stacked and flat as my dad had long arms.
Dino was sold, buyer wanted the original and I still have the stacked flat in MY 72.
