Unless I missed it, Allen is looking for DIN 137 B wavy washer with the old OD of 17 mm. This DIN today is 15 mm. As Bill Jones may suggest, you could have these made by many companies that make washers with, of course, large minimum quantities. Maybe the best way is to hunt around among friend's collection of nut and bolts and collect as many of the larger OD washers, blast 'em, clean 'em and soak in gun bluing to get the black oxide look you want. Thanks Brad, this is, of course correct. Interestingly, I think I've found in the U.k. some of the "old 17mm o.d.) ones BUT they are not black. Actually, I have most of the 17mm (for 14mm ATF bolts and nuts) I need and am just missing a few and..they go on a transmission. So I may make due with what I have. On the other hand, should I find, say, a box of them in black, I'd buy them. Thanks.
