    It is always a good idea to post paint formulas when found. Hopefully we can build a library of current formulas for these old paints.

    There is an app from Glasurit in the apple app store for nearly all colors, it creates an pdf with the Glasurit mixture for 6852: Name:  IMG_0935.jpg

    As suggested earlier, I did reach to Akzo-Nobel and got a response from them in a matter of hours, impressive in the light of some random person asking about a 51 year old paint colour! They do not have the historical formula but believe the one attached below is very similar and is solvent based as it would have been in period. My next steps will involve speaking to the person in Nashua, NH who might have historical paint formulae and get some of them mixed and samples painted.

    I really would love to this car which such a great history back in its original color, would love to see some pictures when it is finished. Great to have to formulas for respray. Lesonal was the manufacturer of the color of my car.

    I think I am mistaken. Mine is a 1970 so it must be Green Metallic not Dark Green Metallic, and I understand they are different colors indeed.
