Liquidation of Weber, Zenith and Solex carburetors from Performance Oriented

Weber, Zenith & Solex carburetors (OEM & modified)

I am liquidating my inventory of Weber, Zenith & Solex carburetors.

All of the carburetor projects have the following comments:
    • These are cores (except for projects #22 and #8 which are fully completed and ready to run) and are complete but disassembled including stud removal.
    • Some have repairable damages
    • All have period correct intake air horns and fuel line banjos
    • Some have had the throttle shaft journals replaced
    • All have jetting and venturis
    • All Weber, Zenith and Solex parts are in good condition and suitable for use without replacement
    • All new replaceable hardware included (nuts, washers, screws, etc.)
    • Contact me for specific details and photos of each project
    • Contact me regarding remanufacturing service to complete these projects.

    Modified Solex carburetor - SOLD!

Just to be clear: This is not a stock set. Manifolds require a 37mm port on cylinder heads. Throttle bores are enlarged to 43mm. I am in the process of redesigning/fabricating the throttle bars that actuate the three carbs, part of this revision is the addition of positive, individual throttle stops to eliminate the erratic idling inherent in these carburetors. Fuel delivery system needs an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and an adjustable fuel flow control valve on the fuel supply line and a return-to-tank fuel line. The Pierburg fuel pumps are not utilized for these carburetors. Air filter system is not designed but I would want to install a foam style filter. Manifolds are restored and new throttle shaft bushings have been installed into all the carburetors.

    • 43mm throttle bores
    • Taper-bored intake manifolds
    • Revised throttle linkage design
    • Improved fuel delivery design
    • $3250

Know that any used Weber carburetors are typically in need of mechanical refurbishment. I do assume that sellers of used Webers are selling with good intent but few are really qualified to assess mechanical condition beyond "the throttle shafts move freely and they seem to be in good condition".

I offer good cores at a reasonable price compared to what is typically offered on eBay or via forum advertisements which are at best core replacement carburetors in need of mechanical refurbishment.

I can refurbish my Webers to perform "as new" and tailored to suit your particular application.
