'. . . This 1969 Porsche 911S was built in February of 1969 finished in special-order Metallic Blue over a black leatherette interior with Pepita seat inserts. It is one of 1,492 S coupes built for the model year and receives power from a mechanically-injected 2.0L flat-six paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels, chrome rocker trim, and factory sport seats. The car was imported to Canada in 1995 and acquired by the seller 14 years ago. A multi-year restoration was completed by Dawes Motorsports in 2017 and included a repaint in the factory color, as well as rebuilds of the engine, gearbox, brakes, and suspension. Approximately 500 kilometers have been added since the work was completed. This 911S is now being offered in Edmonton with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and Alberta registration.

The body was refinished in the factory special-order Metallic Blue (6853) during the restoration. The underside, wheel wells, jambs, and front trunk compartment were also repainted to match. New rubber seals and renewed trim were installed during reassembly. A Ceramic Pro paint-protection treatment has been applied, and closeups of the panels, shut lines, glass, and trim are provided in the gallery below. A small scratch is noted on the passenger door.

Polished rocker trim came fitted from the factory, and a set of European-market H1 headlights have been added along with Hella driving lamps. 15” Fuchs wheels feature anodized spokes and come wrapped in a set of Yokohama radials. Braking is managed by four-wheel vented discs, with aluminum calipers up front. The 911S model received Koni shocks and a rear anti-sway bar from the factory.

Factory Recaro sport seats feature Pepita inserts (9842) and adjustable headrests. Closeups of the basketweave door panels, padded armrests, and door pockets are provided in the gallery below.

A leather-wrapped 4-spoke steering wheels fronts a set of factory VDO silver-dot gauges. 61k kilometers (~38 miles) are shown on the 5-digit odometer, and approximately 3k kilometers have been added by the seller during 14 years of ownership. About 500 kilometers have been added since the restoration was completed in 2017.

The 2.0-liter flat-six received a 9.9:1 compression ratio and Bosch mechanical fuel injection from the factory in S trim. Both the engine and gearbox are replacement units that came from the same donor 1969 911S. They have been rebuilt by Dawes Motorsports and dyno tested.

A number of additional underside photos are included in the gallery along with images of the chassis stamping in the front trunk
