    915 CONVERSION: 1984 hub + stub axle on steel trailing arms?

    Hi

    Is there a way to make the 1984 100mm / 6x8mm stub axle and hub work on the steel trailing arms? Or should I combine the 1970 hub with the later 1984 stub axle in order to make it work?

    (I have a 915 with the 100mm CV joints / drive shafts that I want to install in my 1970 car with steel trailing arms)

    Thanks!

    Johan

    I think the axles will be interchangeable . I once put '73 stub axles in a '79 911SC .

    Thanks Richy, I suspected combining the older hub with the newer stub axle would work

    Out of curiosity, has anyone tried this solution proposed by Patrick Motorsports;
