    FS: 911 S Targa SWT

    911 S Softwindow Targa, bahama yellow, 01/67, VIN 5001xx S, German car, ultra rare collector car = the 75th ever built 911 S Targa SWT according to Porsche AG. Copy of real Porsche KARDEX is available (not the Porsche CoA! or "birth certificate”).

    GER appraisal condition 1 = museum quality, "matching numbers" except engine. Built-in is a "numbers & period correct " 2.0 l 160 hp aluminum engine, full restoration (600 hrs body and100 hrs paint ) by VE (http : //www.vehicle-experts.com/de)

    Re-assembly / completion= 2,5 - 3 years by my private P shop = “Sports Car Schreiner", http://www.jens-porsche-service.de/jh_web/

    Interior in full black leather with the middle part of the front seats in "Pepita/houndstooth" by active P “Meister”/shop foreman from the factory upholstery dept..

    German TUEV = mandatory tech/road test will be done soon, no problem, because it’s a “brand new car” and even better today than at the factory rollout in 1967.

    Documentation of the car (in German / English) and photo documentation about the 600 hours of sheet metal work plus paint and re-assembly (= 3,000+ pictures) available by e-mail.

    Is it either of these vehicles. If so, your VIN is misleading. Please educate me. Second one does not have a matching engine so more likely yours. Willing to be corrected.

    Both above links (same car(?) - 5003XX or 5003XXS) claim to have 17.4.1967 build date.

    That's why I have a question. Also question about interior. Engine number unknown!?. VE shows both present and past that's why I question. Also 500099S is January 27th build date. My limited experience shows the VIN number is close to the production number thus first 75 is questionable but possible. Says somebody other than VE assembled it. Maybe that's the incongruity. Also appears he has not checked Pebble Beach prices.
