    Vin dot decals

Is anyone still making the Vin Dot decals for the door jamb on USA cars?

    Clyde,

This place in Vancouver does proper reproductions with the anti-tamper punched circles https://decalrestore.wordpress.com/
Not cheap, but indistinguishable from orignal. Other places don’t actually punch the circles, so they might look good at 5 feet, but they aren’t correct.
For the historian here, check out their original decal reference library.

I had great experiences with decal restore, too...easy to deal with and the new decal was an exact match to the original, including the pinched circle anti-tamper indicators.

I'd be interested in hearing that as well. I've always been pleased with the Carbone decals but I'm always open to hearing about something better.

Wrong material, fake tamper circles (printed, not punched), fonts are good. Costs less. I got one originally, but just couldn’t bring myself to use it because the circles just didn’t look right. It does look good in pictures and at a few feet away. Then I found decal restore. No contest in my mind, but the extra cost depends on what your final goal is.

Edit - found pricing on their web site finally.

[s]Ravi, I don't the cost schedule on their site. Knowing that prices are subject to change, can you share the cost of the one you got from them? Sned via PM if you wish.[/s]
