    Factory SS heat exchangers

    My 1973 911 T appears to have SS heat exchangers. Is it possible that these are factory or are they aftermarket? Were any of the early heat exchangers SS?

    But you are lucky. They are a much better quality than the original. Probably put on there when the originals rusted out.

    I had the pleasure of talking to the fellow that engineered, tested and desinged the SS heat exchangers.
    When we meet maybe I can convince him to do a artical for the ESSES...

    I love the SSI product brochure. “We started manufacturing in 1976. Our last known defect was 1978”.

    When I spoke to Mr Daniels he started to describe the development of SSI ....in great detail, I hope I can convince him to write a bit for ESSES.
