Very sore fingers and sore from being contorted like a pretzel in the back for most of the day. I figured after I measured the high resistances, there really wasn’t any damage I could do. If it worked, it was a miracle. In the winter, I might pull the glass, scrape off the defroster and install either a new one with copper tape or mask lines and do the original conductive paint. Around here a defroster is useful in the shoulder seasons. Of course with opening rear quarter windows, it might not be so critical. Time will tell.

    Hello,
Currently restoring a 1969 2.0S Targa with a single stage rear window heating, do you know what is the reference for the relay? (this one is a dual stage).

In post five I mention that the single stage window uses the standard round black relay such as used for the horn. Don't remember the part number.
