Bent trailing arm

sent newly restored 72S for final suspension set up. report back is that one of the rear trailing arms is bent.

can they be straightened? and if so, how?

thanks Todd, am in the UK so probably too expensive to buy and ship vs straighten. If i find i cant straighten, i will get back in touch.

Frank would know (yes, that Frank!)
My trailing arm was bent after a trailering accident and he found me a replacement after a while. I would think he would have straightened it if he could have because it was hard to find one. Hope this helps.

My guess would be , yes. If it is just slightly askew, it might adjust back to spec. I would contac a Porsche dealer as they may have a go-no- go fixture to check it. I have often wondered if this would be easy to have done ( someone with the fixture, tool ) or are all the old tools/ gages no longer around. Hope you have a good outcome. ....cliff

I know if no one who has successfully straightened a bent trailing arm. Come to think of it, I know no one that has attempted it.
