    More NCM . . .

    . . . a more modern Benz

Zovig actually liked this color . . . = surprised me

Heard this sort of finish called 'ice.' Also read somewhere that when Stevo was tweeking the Mustang he drove in Bullitt, that he took a Scotch-brite pad to the paint to get the same sort of effect

I've been there a couple times, it's only a couple of miles away from me. The guy has a nice collection and he's always rotating his stock.

Did he have his original Cobra on display when you were there?

You should also check out the Audrain Museum on Bellevue Ave in Newport https://audrainautomuseum.org which I haven't seen yet.

Their hosting the Newport Concours Oct 3 thru 6, I'm gonna try and attend at least one day

Sorry --- on the Other Coast, now, but --- take some pics if you go? . . .

. . . 'cause if you don't take pictures (even really bad ones), then it's like it never happened

    More NCM . . .

    . . . and more Benz

To tell the truth, most new MBzs --- most new cars . . . just turn me off. Folding mirrors, active cruise control, all kinds of electronic 'aids' = junk . . . especially that one fine day when all the software takes a dump. I can appreciate the safety and fuel economy concerns but ---- folding f*cking mirrors, REALLY?

    Whatever

So seeing something like this --- a car that's prolly out-lived at least one, maybe two generations of owners . . . in all its stark, luxurious, mechanicalness . . .

    . . . makes me wonder

What ever happened to simplicity, durability, and just plain ol' good looks? . . .

. . . especially when it can command seven figures, like this

And where will that AMG be in 50 years?

    Spark, fizzle, pop

Thanks for posting. Family and I dove by on our way back from Martha's Vineyard but didn't have time to stop. I was curious as to how the museum was, I'll have to put it on the list for the next time by it.

    More NCM . . .

    . . .

    BMW --- after almost tanking building 501s, 2s, 3s + 252 507s . . .

. . . talk about back to the future --- all this needs to sell today are batteries and an air-bag . . .

    . . . + maybe folding mirrors

    . . . and is that a shifter on the left-hand side?

    More NCM . . .

    . . . Lambo Murcielago

    Spanish for 'bat'

    ?

    Whatever --- ~3500 lbs, >600 hp = fits

Has anyone ever driven one o' these? 'Cause I only ever see 'em in showrooms or museums. This 'convertible' looks sorta sawed-off, and paddle shifters would kill some of the fun (but might save on that 1st clutch job) and noooooooooot exactly compact, is it?

    Any bulls named 'camion'?

No room for kids --- well/OK . . . at least one, anyway

    More NCM . . .

    . . . 'nother car Zovig says she likes --- the color, anyway . . .

    . . . her hair + wind = ka-boom!

I'll admit I'm not a Targa Guy. But if I was, this kinda feels like the $10k hammer, ya know? . . . I mean, what about a nice/light panel that un-latches + stores? --- vs 8 motors, 16 micro-switches, and a partridge in a pear tree, here

    At least the side mirrors don't fold-away . . . . . . . yet
