    . . . current Ford GT350R . . .

Not exactly the the stripped-out racer of the original, but . . .

. . . 3800 lbs, 5.2 litre DOHC V8, 520 hp, carbon fiber wheels, rear seat delete, no spare, etc, etc . . . car 'll boogie-woogie. Amazing noise this thing makes, too

    IMO --- prolly a car to buy now . . .
    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ars-to-Buy-NOW

MSRP = ~$70k --- but these cars are limited-production/allocation so Stealerships usually load these things up w/all kinds o' stripes + nonsense, then mark 'em up >20%. Uh --- I've looked . . .

    . . . Kirkham Cobra

Digital re-creation of the Kirkham Boys own car --- steel frame (stainless available), alu body, 427 (iron or alu), Tremec 6-speed or good ol' Top-loader, etc, etc, etc . . .

I'd skip the hoops + scoops, side pipes --- in Highland Green, please . . .

    . . . <2000 lbs, >500HP . . .

    . . . all for ~same Asking as LWB 'S'?

And people 'll brag about dropping 5 times that for a DickinSinger?

    . . . De Tomaso Pantera

    Super-early push-button door version --- muddled-up with the usual over-sized-wheels-cum-black-chrome + (your deity here) knows what else . . .

Never cared for these --- Guigiaro-design = meh . . . especially since most seem to always be laid-up for one reason or t' other. Notorious coolant-belchers. Drove a sub-10k-miler once . . . = awful. Couldn't see anything, couldn't hear anything, uncomfortable + cheap inside

A car no one can seem to leave alone --- like this one

    Pass

I second the drive of a 427 SC Cobra, the fastest, most push back, scariest car I ever driven, because with all that power along with the lightweight, I mean the doors seem flimsy and the side pipes get really hot, if you just floor it the front wheels can actually leave the ground like a wheely. There is absolutely no car like it because it's unrefined, newer cars are more refined and built safer, they are not raw like a real 427 SC Cobra.

    . . . Kaiser Darrin

Notable as the 1st vehicle to use FG in an automotive application --- introduced in Sep '52 . . . two months before GM's Corvette

And having doors that slide into the front fenders --- patented in '46

Kindova odd car, I suppose --- but I've always like the 'sliding' door thing . . .

. . . just not into the fenders
