Interesting that there is a raised area assumedly for the VIN stamp that was not utilized.

Looks like an early seat.. No headrest... 65 or earlier. The 64 Seats would have 6 pleats in them instead of 5. Of course that could have been redone years ago.

    in the worx...
some early cars (like #13) had the vin in the raised area.
at around 300130 they began to play a bit with the positions(even stamped them twice )up to ca. 300180

the raised area moved down at around vin 300800
also the tag and the stamping changed several times

need a bit more time to have something presentable

I had never noticed the part indicated by the arrow.
Does the presence of this "protection" make it possible to determine whether a seat dates from 1964 eventually from the very beginning of 1965?

How to recognize a 1964 / early 1965 front seat?

    Hello experts,
The 300090 needs a pair of front seats.
These seats must therefore have been manufactured between 1964 and the beginning of 1965.
Besides the six folds (which may have been replaced), could you please tell us other special features that will allow us to determine if a front seat is correct or not for a 1964 911?
    Thanks,
    Philippe

    Rear bumper corners

    Hi all,

I'm happy to continue to share with you about the 300090.
Here are some pictures of the original rear bumpers.
On both the bumper brackets we find the 90 number punched.

These are not those that were installed but I got them back with some other parts when I bought the car.

25 years ago I didn't imagine how important it will be (today) to have original parts.
They are in so poor condition that I thought to throw them several times...

    "ouf !"

    Philippe

PS: Any information about how to recognize 1964 front seats? See my previous post. Thanks.
