FS: Un-numbered (blanco) 912 engine, complete

    SOLD

For sale un-numbered complete 912 engine that sat for over 25 years, so sold as core. This is really for European buyers as shipping to US would be very expensive. Its now removed from car, these bad pictures are when it was still mounted. (happy to take better pics for potential buyer)

    Good bits:
    - factory replacement engine, just small k-stamp and no engine number whatsoever, this should make it but more attractive
    - complete engine, so with carbs, air cleaners (seems to be 69' type, I media blasted+ painted these) etc
    - oil was pretty ok, very little water there and underneath crank looked ok

    Bad bits:
    - do not turn over
    - one carb (Solex) is stiff, other is OK
    - I removed some engine tinwear (large bit back from engine) as it was so rusted

    So will need complete rebuild!!!!

Price is 4000 eur plus shipping from Finland

It was frozen because pistons were stuck in barrels (need new ones anyway), partially dismantled so I was able to check why it was stuck.

    New price 3200eur plus shipping
