    I'm making Porsche steel alloys

6s and 7Rs in "outlaw grey", I bumped the offset 3mm on the 7Rs inward for my SWB car. Barrels are forged aluminum and about 3 times stronger than the original rolled aluminum barrels according to the Engineers. Of course the original centers I use are also forged.
20 steel 1/4" rivets per wheel, painted in epoxy primer and urethane enamel.
The 7s weigh 5 pounds less than a 5,5x15 steel wheel.

    Yes sir.

Unfortunately these wheels are very expensive to make. We can offset them custom as well just ask.

We do an exchange using your steel wheels or we need to find a donor set. Note: If the donor set is very rough this will effect price a little to recondition them first. By very rough I mean severe rust. I prefer painted wheels over chrome as they are lighter but chrome are fine to use.

Paint color other than classic silver, outlaw grey or satin or gloss black is an extra $50. Painted centers with polished barrel will add a lot to these wheels so we are doing full paint.

Pricing per wheel: (no 1/2 sizes at this time)

5J and 6Js full paint are priced at $857.5 each steel alloy with standard street/Ight track use flange, to add the race flange $987.50 per wheel.

7J and 8J full paint are priced at $1085. and are all made with racing flange.

9J , 10J are priced at $1197.50 per steel alloy wheel with racing flange.

We are working on forging 11 inch barrels. We can do custom barrels narrower than 5".

I'm also properly refinishing Fuchs wheels, stripping the anodized finish, re anodizing and custom or standard black accent painting for $350 per wheel. I'll show a set here soon. I figure Harvey likely is overloaded with work out there.

I'm located on the East coast in the US (Haverford, Pennsylvania).

Thanks for the kind words and inquiries

    Matt

How much do the sevens weigh? These are original 7Kx15 alloy/steel 906 fronts......15.75lbs. Note the centers with no hubcap "bumps".

I would possibly be interested in two sets for a 904 i am building if they dont have the hub cap bumps,6&7.
    Also finished weights of 6&7.

    only 906 sevens & nines don`t have the hubcap "bumps"......all 904 5", 5.5" & 6" wheels have hubcap "bumps"......... 906 wheels are unique!

Very interested and commend your work. I’ve been looking for an original set for a while but have become convinced that if found a full disassembly and possibly a new barrel is likely given age of the wheels.

Can you show a pic of the inside? Also, I understand that historically, the riveting flange of the center steel portion was wider for the steel alloy wheels as compared to the all steel wheels. Has that been accommodated in any way, through engineering or material addition?

    Thanks! Great project.
