    Sunroof motor rebuilder

Looking for someone to rebuild a sunroof motor. Anyone have a source?

    Thanks

I approve of the request. I do not have it broken but I want to take it apart to clean it.

I'm looking of the same thing. My motor is worn out.

    Help!

Correct. But - they're expensive and they're not original to the car.

We're looking for someone that can actually restore the motors.

Reviving this old thread, as I’m looking for a source to rebuild the original sunroof motor from my 69S. I’ve tried a dozen local auto electric shops with no luck.

Too bad there wasn't a manual option, then you could easily swap for that assembly.

IIRC, isn’t the sunroof motor the same as the very early window motors? Might be a source of replacement parts for a rebuild.

I’ve found someone local who claims to be able to rebuild these, so he has my early sunroof motor and I expect to have it back next week fully functional.
