Price inquiry: 911 Rear Nerf Bar

    Hello,

Does anyone know how much an excellent con rear nerf bar is worth?

    Thanks

Just the bar or including the special bumperettes? The last set I sold several years back went for $250 so, not really a good datapoint. I still have one set for me and I don't think I'd part with it under $500 depending on the condition.. You just don't see too many of these come up. Also, there was an earlier SWB version with the rubberless bumperettes.

    Thanks Michael,

I only have the bar which is generally in Good condition. I don't think I will find a set of overiders for it separate easy. I've heard you can convert a standard set.

    Will keep looking...... Nice accessory,

I posted another resurrection thread asking if they done a matching front?

    Thanks Lee

Was this a factory or aftermarket option? Thanks Marlon

I don't think there is anything special about the bumperettes other than a hole for the bolt. The bar has the threaded insert.

    Factory option

Correct: drill a hole, and attach with Bolt and 356 speedster rubber Gromits

I bought one (non original, but perfect copy) for Approx us$250 about 3 years ago (peak).
But they are rare to find.

The bumperettes also have holes to accommodate the "front" bumperette rubber trim. I don't recall off hand whether the original holes' spacing will accept either front or rear rubbers..
