While that is what the clamps in that picture look like, the Porsche part number is 999.512.185.02 and looks like the Oetiker pinch clamp shown in the earlier photos. Wonder if both options were used over the years? Spring clamp first, then pinch clamp, which is definitely more secure.

Interesting. On the other hand, it seems like the spring clamp is a more natural fit for the barbed socket ends. Maybe Porsche found out that they would sometimes come off and therefore switched to Oetiker?

Looked at a '72 911T yesterday. Found this arrangement in the engine compartment. It's been out and apart so I cannot vouch for "authenticity" but there were no clamps.

My '72 had cloth-braid hoses and Oetiker clamps when I bought it. Both have been replaced now, as the hoses were a bit crunchy.

The tool isn't expensive and you'll find more uses for it. I've done most of the fuel lines with Oetiker clamps on the '74 911. Straight jaw works 90% of the time.

It's the same tool used for sprinkler pipe pinch clamps. Under $10 at Home Depot.

So over the winter I've had the routing of the fuel lines to the cold start injectors corrected, and all connections are now secured with Oetiker clamps. The connection on the solenoid has been repaired, and I'm pleased to say my cold starts are now perfect! It just takes two second of cranking and then the engine springs to life. So much better than before.
Unfortunately one of the connections has started leaking a little bit: I noticed a small amount of fuel on the T-connector for cylinder 3 so that will need some attention...
