    Doigthom,
Thats a Nice door panel! Any chance that you can post a close up, it will make it easier to see the pattern.

Seems like both the pattern and the color is a little bit wrong on the repro vinyl samples (#4 and #11).

Sorry car not available to me at this time to get pictures. I think I remember that the basket weave is a little less defined. More like the leather samples posted in #6. The imprint is being rolled into the leather while the vinyl is cast in when it is formed and has a much sharper definition. I also believe that you find differences in both the tan and beige in 1968 as opposed to the beige in 1970. There was some confusion back in '66 to '68 as to what was tan and what was beige. There was also a distinct brown and I have seen references to fawn. The '68 interior samples appear on page 2 of this thread http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...+color+samples

    Doigthom,
    That interior was nice.
It seems difficult to find a match in vinyl. Either the color is too dark or it is not the right pattern. I will order samples in leather from different suppliers to see if it is possible to get a better color and pattern matching. If they're not good enough, I'll follow Scott's advice and try to fix the original interior and re color it.

    Best Nick
