Hey guys, how do I tell if this plate cover is an original or repop? Also, what's a good price for this?

There are a couple of tells: usually the frame has “Robert W. Brown & Co. Downey, CA” in raised letters on the back. Secondly, the inner corners of an original frame are rounded, not sharp (as yours appear to be).

Check this website for photos of original frames.

Looks like the ones I bought direct from Brumos before they closed, so they were made in recent years. Robert W. Brown & Co. had a patent on these back in the day that expired. So if you are looking for one from the early 70's it would also have a date stamp on it.
