Thread: Matter roll bar padding

    Matter roll bar padding

Looking for about 3-4 feet of Matter roll bar padding. They are no longer around so it’s hard to find.
I have ordered a couple samples of generic from a couple of the big national hot rod supply houses without any luck. Black of course.
If anyone can help please email direct to: rcabell911@gmail.com

Matter is still active, at least, there's a company over here doing rollbars:

    Will give a call.

Maybe they still have some, but i doubt. Looks like FIA asks for something different now.

    You may use this

    With stencils paint?

    Will post results tomorrow

Thanks Oliver. I don't care about the printing "Matter". Plain back is fine. This is 70's vintage padding I am trying to match.

Oliver, The padding from Merlin looks pretty good. If Matter is a no go, I'll contact Merlin.

I ordered the "high density" padding from them and it was not spongy foam, it was a hard plastic like material. If Oliver has no luck, I will order the medium density from Longacrer.

    Hi,

I called Matter, they don't have anything. Sorry.

Maybe stupid, but, you could try some construction shop. They use something similar for tubing insulation...

    Olivier.
