    Help identifying air cleaner bases

    Hello All,
    I have these bases I had powder coated. However, they did not work on my 1970 with mfi. What are they? It looks like they are two right side bases. I want to sell them but I need to be sure what they are before I do that. I appreciate the help. Regards, Steve

    I believe those are the early SWB Weber type.

    Same part number x 2. They aren't "handed". 901 108 220 00

    they seem identical in every way to my early 1971 T bases, that must have started with zeniths, but are now PMO.

    Current long term ownership: 63 Cab, 71 911, 74 914

    @AKAMick

    These "full radius trumpets" work very well. Thanks to Paul Abbott (Performance Oriented) and test pilot Ed Mayo.

    Hi Steve, As far as the Porsche catalog is concerned, There is only 1 filter base for 1966-1970. That is part #901-108-220-00. In 1971, Porsche made the air cleaner housing out of plastic for all of the models. That air filter base # 911-108-014-00. The clip mounts are in different locations to account for the different clip they used.(They used the same clip as the 1972-73 air cleaner).
