That's the problem with these trips, you never know how much stuff you're gonna get. I was supposed to pick up a car, but the deal fell apart, which was kind of fortunate because I wouldn't of had room, but had I known there was no car I would have brought my cargo trailer, rather than the aluminum car trailer. The cargo trailer is 3 feet longer and has sides for stacking.

    have to improvise

Like when I figure I have it made just picking up a car and then do a favor
to pick up a few primitives and only have one extra strap and a bunch of wire.

I've had to improvise when there turn out to be extra cars available.

Adam, did the fiberglass bumpers make it without breaking? Great seeing you and thanks for taking stuff off my hands that would never have seen daylight except for someone crazy enough to drive around buy bits and pieces, thank you for your support of the community. The next time you are looking for that rare NOS or NLA part, check with Adam, he might have it because he works his tale off caravanning the usa looking through other's goodies.

Has anything ever fallen off when you were driving back?

We've littered the highways of America with glass, now I tape it in before leaving. Once in CT I had a very angry lady flag me down and scream at me about something coming off my trailer hitting her car. I carefully looked over her car and saw no damage, she agreed, but still red-faced said, "SECURE YOUR LOAD!"

So yes, stuff has come off, and cars have almost come off, ask Matt why we don't transport Washers and Dryers on the trailer.
