I think yours is missing a section of pipe...& there could be variations from earlier to later cars {Subtle, but there} I think it had to do with the `Shepards crook` part that yours seems to be missing....it was discussed here some time ago?....cliff
There you have it as I was typing this out & yes, its a two part metal tube part. May be that others might enlighten us about the variation? & I think there is a difference, like size of the tube or similar! It is actually a vent tube.
Well, here is the other variation. Went to the garage and found this! So,as Moito above stated, yours is a two piece affair as opposed to the single pipe, I have pictured. Either 68` or later. I dismantled a 68` 912 a lot of years ago! My 66 911 & 67 912 have the two separate tubes as yours!
Bottom picture is from a 67` 912. (note the small tube near the small securement clamp) on the middle picture, 68`?

That is part of the gas tank venting system , not the filler overflow drain .

    Hi Guys
I did not give a adequate description. I was referring to the fuel filler in the fender. Underneath the filler cap and the fabric apron there is a drain that is routed
along the fender well. I am trying to determine the correct drain tube.
    Thanks
