    No bondo.

Lead work is about 60% completed as everything is tinned and 3/4 soldered. Some areas are filed but there's plenty left. My half round file is dull so it'll need replacing.

The RSR coilovers with real RSR struts arrived. More RSR suspension components on the way

Still fitting everything. This is my design and color scheme.
RSR/935 suspension paid for and trickling in.
Making adjustments to my custom roll / harness bar.
This steel one will be a template for a S-T aluminum bar.
The front 8Jx15s are vintage Fuchs btw. .

More parts delivered. I have the front Bilstein coil overs but Still waiting on the rears. These are real RSR struts.
I'm trying to get this tub fully ready for painting with in two weeks from now. The roll hoop is refitted up nicely.

Please excuse the above stitch welds the joint between these panels suck seam sealer or under sealant up into as you weld bc of the heat. I had to grind it off and try it again. Many four letter words and I threw my helmet once.

Checking off all details that must be done before painting prep. Sorry there are too many items to bore you with I'll show them after paint. The red vintage Fuchs aren't being used if anyone wants them 8Jx15 ET 22; $650 I sold the Minilites, bought 9J x 15 Fuchs and will use 7J x 15s up front for better feel.
I want to take this car to Luft!

I noticed there was paint work on the rear quarter but had I brought a meter or even better a magnet, I could have saved a lot of money on the purchase. Because the repair was so bad, a magnet was all I needed.

It was blowing lot of smoke and barely running (CIS doesn't like sitting for 5 years) but I brought $17,100 cash and had their friend trailor it home. 128k original miles, not too long ago this was a $7,100 car. But the seller played hardball and wouldn't budge off 17k, I gave him another $100 for doing the deal quickly and setting me up with his friend to trailer it (at an additional $400) to my shop that night.

I promptly got it running well enough and decided to make subtle flares for the rear arches to fit more rubber while I thought about what I'd do with the car and drivetrain.

When I finished making the custom wheel arches and began removing the mostly original paint, my flap disc just kept digging.

    I couldn't believe I mist this!

I must admit, this was done by the Michelangelo of Bondo repairs

    Some changes..
I'm going with a grey to be revealed later
So it looks like I'm going 3,3 liter 930 power for this car.

My engine lid is gonna need some work.

I'll be in the 340 bhp neighborhood with the option via intercooler/exhaust upgrades to be in the much nicer 400 bhp neighborhood.

    I'm guessing I'll be in the 2200 # range..
