    951 Space saver 7x15???

A friend of mine has a pair of forged 951 space saver wheels but these see 7x15?? Dates are 10/84 and made in Norway etc like the 5,5's.

    Anyone know anything about these?

My guess is someone had wider barrels done... a good wheel shop could make them look like they came from the factory. Sound cool, are they for sale?

AFAIK these were made 1985-86 and both versions are 5.5 X 15. For 1987 they were anodized red and have a different part number. Both have 16 holes.

The 16 x 5.5 from 1992-95 were also anodized red but had 10-holes.

In my search of info on these wheels I have now learned there are at least 4 types with different #:
    951.362.131.00 5,5x15 ET30 Silver 2 Valves Space Saver Tire

    951.362.131.01 5,5x15 ET30 Silver 1 Valve Standard Size Tire(165HR15)

    951.362.130.01 5,5x15 ET30 Red 2 Valves Space Saver Tire

951.362.105.00 7x15 ET23 date 1084 Silver No other info yet

In the PET the closest I have found is 928.362.030.02 Emergency Wheel Alloy Collapsible Tire.
Looks like they delivered the cars with standard size tire in some markets or upon requests? This wheel did not have the second outlet valve as the space saver wheels have. Is on ebay now(February 1.2023)

Wow. I'm with @Cruisingnkali... the search is on. Someone posted a pic somewhere on this site of their 911 sporting a set painted body color. Killer look.

I am running these 951.362.131.00 5½x15" ET30 on my MY66 - I really like the look and fitment on SWB with these. Dual valves and decided to keep the spare wheel stickers on for a while

Really like this look. Had a local wheel guy weld up one of the air valve holes on each (that needed extra sealant to plug slow leaks - was not happy with his tig welding)

Polished the mill finish then scotch pad'ed to get this satin finish.

Made the custom hub caps from billet aluminum and machined down stock wheel caps.

Drove out to RennSport and got to drive the cork screw with these chunky tread Pirrelli's. :-)

(Thanks to Brett Sloan for getting this photo).
