current batch of sun visors, do any actually fit?

A couple of years ago, I bought a few sets of sun visors for my 72 and 83 911's...both are coupes, I had nothing but trouble and ended up finding a used set of 964 sun visors for the '83 and living with the sagging visor in the '72.

The problem I experienced is that none would fit well, onto the hinge pin and still clip in near the rear view mirror. It seemed such an obvious fitment issue, I'm hoping that someone has come up with a better unit.

Has anyone had any luck lately?

Bumping this thread to see if anyone has any info.

I see on Sierra Madre that they are offering pairs at $130 that are type "repop" and other pairs at $330 that are type "Genuine Porsche". Does anyone have direct experience with the fitment on either or both of these types? (The cust. service guy at SM only mentioned that the vinyl is correct on the Genuine Porsche.)

    Thanks,
    Jim

I can't speak for the coupe version, but the pair my friend bought for his targa from PartsKlassik are pretty good. The coupe version is available in black/ivory or all black. https://www.partsklassik.com/p-778-s...and-ivory.aspx

The all-black repops fit like &$@&%$*****. I'm about to pull them off and put the originals back on.
