    1967 911S engine complete

    Porsche 911S engine complete.

has the correct weber carbs etc. very nice condition, has been in dry storage for a number of years.

960501 is the engine number which was the last 67S engine to be fitted with the IDA carbs.

as a silencer with it and all the tinware.

Engine is located in the UK, I am happy to strap to a pallet for international shipping.

I would £20k GBP for it as it sits, I don't have the facilities to run it up but see no reason it won't run as it looks so nice, was bought in many years ago in this condition.

That number doesn’t look original to me.

Do you have the type / seq. number?

Seems the original type number (901/x) was grinded off.

The build number will tell us more. So, please show the build number. So far looks like a fake S engine. Thanks.

It's too bad someone re-stamped this number; probably to go with their car. (Anyone know the matching Chassis Number? If it were a coupe the VIN would be 3066XX +/-) You never know what you get (inside), especially with a engine like this. It is not necessarily a bad engine but the re-stamping gives it a bad "smell." For the right price, someone will buy it. Thanks.
