    FS: Lot of Bilstein jacks

    0 1/70- MY72: one opening for lug wrench broken sold

    Jacks left to right

    1. 1/70- MY72 sold
    2. 2-7/72, 80€
    3. 2-7/72, 90€ (better condition than 2.)
    4. late 1975 to 1976 Green dot 100€ Sold at Strähle Swap.

    Are the jacks 1,2 and 3 the same as for VW Beetle ?

    I don't believe jack #1 is accurate for model year 69 and at least early model year 1970. The jack for these years has the lift arm at an angle to the steel shaft and has only one handle.

    Hi David,

    You are correct.
    #0 and #1 are correct for MY71 and early 72( maybe for complete MY72 in the US), speaking for 911 and from 7/69 for 914.

    Dirk & David,
    I think the one lever jack was used through 69. But I’m not sure the exact date when Porsche switched to the two lever jack. But I think it was durring 1970. The 700 mile 911 S 1970 have a two lever jack. My 911 E from june 1970 have a two lever jack. I enclose two threads regarding that topic.

    Nick and Dirk -

    This may help with cutoff date. My 1970 911E built in December of 1969 has the single lever Bilstein jack with lift bar angled downward. It appears that the transition occurred between December '69 and June '70.
