    Sonderwunsch . . .

    . . . = 'special wishes'

Almost for as long as they've been in business, Porsche has performed special work for their customers --- everything from colors + options not normally offered, to more-elaborate upgrades --- like the Faktory's famous slope-nose/'flachbau' conversions of the 911/930 Turbos

But some of this special work is more subtle --- and more custom . . . one-offs and seldom-seen options that almost qualify as one-of-a kind

'll be interesting to see what turns up

Was there really back then a „Sonderwunsch“ program as known in the 1980ies?
I think the only Sonderwunsch was option „Paint to sample“. And some special cars for Porsche/Piech family members, VIP clients like Krupp etc.

I understood that the "Sonderwunsch" was in the 80s and up, and that before ... it was called "special wishes"?

    The Krupp 356 was a car I remembered . . .

    . . . but wasn't there a '69 car w/ electric windows --- an option not offered 'till '70

Then there's some of those kooky interiors on the 'family' cars
