Re the fog lights, the 2.4l accessories list states

    - 458/459 round fog lights for under the bumper 911E, 911S (which came standard with front spoiler)
-429/430 square fog lights for under the bumper 911T (which did not came in standard with front spoiler)

If the 911T had option M473 (which included a S-bumper), it also needed round fog lights.
If however standard bumper w/o spoiler, square ones were only option.

So square fog lights under an S-bumper are a „Sonderwunsch“ but if rounded fog lights its not?
I think if fog lights are optioned for an S-bumper, they were rounded.
TTG lights are indicated as well, btw.

Accessories 73 (72 is currently out of my house).

As for the 65/66 paintag issue, if a June 65 built 911 or 912 (European market only) wears a 1966 paint tag/code, its most likely because it followed the Standard Colors Color Chart, dated 5.65, which was valid and in use after that date. I have no hard facts but the issue date 5.65 is exceptional, as usually Color Chart are dated 9/xx or 1/xx.

Btw it is not true that Color Charts were „printed in advance“ and also dated prior to Model Year.
As Price lists, it seems they were dated within Model Years.
Brochures also were dated within Model Years but sometimes used images from previous Model Years, usually shot in spring, while the brochures was in use for Fall -new Model Year- only.

Color Chart and Price lists however needed to follow the order procedures and probably were in use for immediate. Price list were even printed twice, usually 8/xx and 1/xx, to adjust to currency changes of DM Deutschmark/US dollar within a single Model Year.

As for 356/912/911 Color Charts, i agree w Dave, around April 65-July 65, probably both Color Charts might were in use.

Here one of my favorite items, the combined 356/911 brochure/pricelist, undated but most likely first half of 1965.
Note the huge price gap from 356 to the new 911, to the 356 C Coupe the new 911 car was over 50./. more expensive and to the SC Convertible, still 42./. more.

    Hahn dealer
I see that Hahn does not appear in the tourist delivery brochures. Is it due to its proximity to the factory?
the modifications of those cars, did the factory? Or the dealer?

    Alu Bits . . .

    . . . Faktory
    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...-body-parts-FS

I would think these were built for something like Porsche's GTS 'funny' cars --- light-weight bits to mimic the steel ones . . . but to reduce the weight

Still waiting for someone to bring-up a car that has this stuff listed as 'optional'

    Sonderwunsch? . . .

    . . . or just sneaky Faktory-only type-bits?

    Either way . . . super-special

    Dream 'bout these, still
