Just saw it.
Threw around alot of cool names and a plethora of vintage cars.
If there are any carguys on this site, I would highly recommend.

Great movie. A GT40 passes a 911 in one scene at the 1966 Le Mans. Should be: Kerguen / "Franc" "J. Franc" Porsche 911 S Porsche GT2.0
Saw it yesterday. Some historical quibbles to be sure...but overall an entertaining flick.

As a primer there’s a pretty neat documentary from 2016, on Netflix and Prime, called “The 24 Hour War”, on this very topic.

I will see it today. My brother went to work for Ford Engineering in 65 and has told me many times about hearing the engines for the LeMans effort running 24 hr/day through the rev changes from a program duplicating the event curves and straits. He said those sounds could be heard all around the Detroit complex, and were like music to him...he has always been a car nut!

havent seen it yet......
wondering what cobra's and gt40s are used?.....real?.....superformance?....era......etc etc.......id guess they are not real?
Fun to watch --- even Zovig loved it!
It's Great Big Story, for sure --- with some great exchanges . . . like when Iaccoca tells Mr Ford what Ferrari had to say. Also, Shelby's pitch after Ford losing . . . + his thoughts on Italian time pieces. Coupla things kinda stuck out --- but nothing to spoil the show. The personalities and politics are fascinating, and all those characters --- Shelby, Miles, Henry the Duece, Enzo, Iaccoca . . . larger then life. Some real heros there. And lotsa cars, too. Woulda liked more of the history, maybe, but --- @2.5 hours? . . . there's only so much audiences will sit through, so . . .
Be interested to hear from the people who 're Really There --- what they think
Anyway, good show
