this is a short story on Le Mans, the years before 1966.
John worked at Canepa, and loves a good story.

saw it a few nights ago.....

I liked it but it did not grab me like LeMans did w/ Steve

    SPOILER HERE!!

Bales is FANTASTIC........I was intrigued by the Miles character more than any other..I related to him.....and his wife was cute..lol... and the boy was adorable. Made me look into the Miles story.......alot of intrigue and legend.....his ending seems to be almost a "Senna" mystery from what I could gather

Saw it as a preview with my Car club. Great movie.

Wrong title, should have been "Carroll vs Henry or How Ken Miles and Phil Remington Beat Ferrari".

The name of the film is Ford v Ferrari.

I did the matinee last Friday at noon.

I wore my old replica 1966 jacket that I bought in the 1990's:

    1972 Porsche 911
    2023 Porsche 911 Turbo
    2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350

Doesn't every car maker have this same story?

how did Ferrari get 5 wins in a row? (and they didn't have $10 million like Ford did)
how did Porsche win so many at Le Mans, especially in their early years? (they didn't have the $10 million like Ford did)

I liked movie, it was very emotional for me. from beginning to end.
but I would really like to see the movie of what made Ferrari in the late 50s early 60s ...or Porsche. that is the movie I want to see. Pre McQueen Le Mans.
All the back story, their struggles and achievements and characters.

I want to see the movie of what made Porsche.
I want to see the movie of what made Ferrari.
