    2 valve stem inflatable tire

I recently purchased a collapsible spare.
Not sure what year it comes from?

I note it has 2 valve stems. Is that to simply inflate or deflate easier?
Did a search, cannot find a link.

I have not seen one with two separate valves but later (1980's) ones have two valves together which I understand was a requirement put in by USA regulations to stop people over inflating them when they were used. Apparently it is some sort of "blow off" valve to stop people over inflating it to the extent that it explodes.
Nanny state in operation again....personally I would prefer a Darwinist approach - the world as a whole would be better off without someone who inflated his tire to the extent that it exploded
So yours may be an earlier ( or later) version. The date stamp on the one I posted was 14 week 1985
