    Help identifying rear shocks

    Hi Everyone:

I have two questions about the rear shocks on my 71T.

As a bit of background, I had a very reputable tech tell me that the rear shocks had been “updated to the newer style”. With that said, a suspension refresh is long overdue and, because I’m planning to change to Bilstein Greens (B6s), I climbed under the car today to identify my setup before making the purchase.

My rear shocks are Sachs units and have “EM 101 047” inscribed on them. And now, for the questions:

    1. Are these in fact 72+ shocks?
    2. Which Bilstein parts do I need to replace them?

    Thanks in advance!
