    Price advice '67 aluminium engine?

BTW server administrator should fix the SSL certificate that is not working on the forum server. Letsencrypt.org supply free SSL certs so PLEASE fix this. Login non SSL is not recommended, have good experience using letsencrypt on linux as well as windows servers no need to wait.

    Okay then Hello,

been playing with 356's last 5 years so long time no see.

I have this '67 aluminum blank case (no VIN -replacement case) engine that I was going to use in the 911R replica. The car was almost done but in the middle of building my '74 914 Bumblebee back to a 2 liter (914/VW engine) I decided to use the carbed 2.7 from the 914 in the 911R(eplica).

The '67 engine ran like a champ in my 70S and has been oiled and rotated every 6 months or so, its a drop in but "everyone" recommend better cylinders. It has the older style Weber carbs.

Link to engine here, have better photos it is "turnkey" but does not have "the good cylinder".

    Or at Pelican

I find myself to have more fun in the 356 models and want to sell whatever parts I do not have a plan for or will be using in the distant future, my questions is what would be a fair price for this engine? Just for the record this engine is in Norway but I have a quote at $500-ish for shipping to the US.

This has been brought up multiple times. Whoever the admin is claims it will break the site.....

OK, thats weird. Not sure if "built with" show the truth but if as reported nginx on a linux box it should be fine.

We administer/run VPS's for clients and have most on DigitalOcean (recommend them!) these days. They have very good community articles, eg certbot on nginx or apache not knowing the OS but usually not very big difference

Sweet, yes the tubs are fantastic. I have a nice '56 coupe, a very nice '63 coupe and a '56 total basket case that I am playing with the idea of making into something radical.

Waiting for the speedsters to adjust a little more and sell a couple other cars then get a speedster, I always said "just want another 911" back when most speedsters were $25K ands then they went through the roof. Wont sell the 356's though they are keepers.
