    '68 911R Tribute - ex-Cole Scrogham

This looks like a very cool build that Cole Srogham did a number of years ago and that was most recently updated by Henk at Carparc.....it's listed FS at Auto Kennel for $160K. I wish I had a money tree

    Hi,

I just joined your group today and I am the person that bought this car from Auto Kennel. It is just about everything that I have been looking for. I hope to have more information to share about it as I start enjoying it and become more familiar with it.
    Regards,
    Jim

Great to have you on board. This is a very cool car.

Would it be a stretch to say it's a bit more comfortable these days?😉

Gorgeous! I love how the 911R kind of has a little 356 T5 vibe going on up front.

Here are a few more shots at different angles of the outside and a couple of the engine and underside. This is a different engine then it used to have. It is now 2.5L, (different crank, rods and pistons/cylinders).

I think I may be taking the horse and Heuer stickers off, what do you think?
    Regards,
    Jim

Beautiful car, CONGRATS and welcome! This car is set up incredibly well. As far as decals go, it’s all personal preference. I’m a fan of the Pegasus’. Personally I like the skeleton Pegasus as affixed to our hotrod Targa. They are also avail in red. If it were mine I would probably remove the Heuers unless you have the timers on your dash. Again, welcome to the board and please post lots of pics along the way as you make it “yours”!!
