here is a pair of what look like clear top lenses........... but they are on H1's on a 1969 (despite the cookie cutter wheels) car NOT H4's and I suspect that is what most people who think they are looking at clear topped H4's are seeing - unless a clear top lens has been put on in error which could have easily happened in the past

Is anyone reprinting the round Bosch decals that are on reflectors?

Agree Hugh, the tech information para two clearly says identifiable by H4. Easy to misidentify.

If an early H4 lens was damaged is it possible that the earlier lens with clear top was fitted leading to the miss-match pair you found.

I think this early clear top H4 myth is busted unless someone actually posts an original Bosch H4 marked lens that also has clear (not pebble) top.

Square white stickers 1972/3 manufacture on the various ones I have and others I’ve seen highly likley to be original. Yellow round stickers on a very rare 65 lens also have —

So, Biodes were never stock? Were they ever a dealer option (officially)?

Yes those. White or yellow, who makes them? Anyone?
