Thread: RS plastic fuel tank front bracket info?

RS plastic fuel tank front bracket info?

I have bought a plastic RS tank (thanks Tom), and received the 3 mounting brackets with it.
Does anyone have detailed pictures of the front bracket setup? It is rather intuitive, but why not make it factory correct?

Is your car a 73? If not front mounting might not be there.

It isn't there (69), which is why I am asking for reference pictures.

I’m not around my car now but the front mounting bracket is so far under the front of the tank it is bolted from under the front end into the threaded bracket. I’ll try and get a pic later.
