    If you are going to be near New Plymouth let me know - its not really on the tourist trail - "one or two" (lost count) cars in the resto shop at the moment

    Yes, It’s not so much on the trail which is a shame...Planning a trip home this March to show my wife the east coast from auckland to Wellington....bit I’ve been close to you - Stratford - many many moons ago....beautiful region. My Uncle worked on an offshore supply ship connected to the Maui gas field and really liked New Plymouth.
